Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented team player, who will manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. This position will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase efficiency and effectiveness within the branch. The branch manager will have the tools and resources available to lead a strong and prosperous branch.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Cycle Counts for inventory.
- Reviews incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Review orders to be shipped out.
- Complete daily order confirmation.
- Manage the warehouse team and assist with problems or concerns.
- Ensure that the products received are stored in an organized and accessible manner.
- Create a layout plan that streamlines the storage and receipt of goods.
- Implement worker safety and health regulations.
- Plan projects and set objectives for the warehouse team to meet.
- Respond to orders efficiently so that products are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with customers and sales team members regarding discrepancies and errors in customer orders.
- Address customer and team member satisfaction issues promptly.
- Address logistics problems and find solutions to these issues.
- Meet with other managers to discuss shipping times, distribution issues, etc.
- Implement objectives and business plans that are discussed with management.
- Meet goals and metrics outlined.
- Be able to provide training, coaching, development, and motivation for the warehouse team.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and promote growth opportunities.
- Manage the branch improvements and work with leadership on these initiatives.
- Any other tasks assigned by leadership.
- Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations.
- Manage and review equipment inventory.
What You’ll Need:
- 3 years of management experience.
- Experience in customer service.
- Experience in the automotive industry (recommended)
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Great organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to train team members.
